Endless Winter
Before I die, the seasons change
From warm Autumn to cold Winter.
From one to another, all things change.
One year ago, I lost a bet
In which my soul was bargained.
My enemy took that and more
Yet I would never know.
The warmth has gone.
Replaced by an endless chill.
And what was I, a lonely girl,
Ever supposed to do.
An endless Winter, no longer wanted.
An Autumn never to come, always needed.
No more happiness or strength
All courage and bravery gone.
My life a helpless hell-hole.
Where fatigue and sadness reign.
I slowly sank to the frozen ground,
Never wanting to rise again.
As the blood-red sun set,
my weary eyes slid
